Welcome to my personal travel and adventure journal. From deep winter objectives to long hikes and winding roads, it's about exploring both the wild and not-so-wild places, and the stories, lessons, and insights discovered along the way.

I was introduced to the outdoors and travel at a young age. Hiking, camping, mountain biking, and ziplining were regular activities while growing up in rural Tennessee. I didn't grow up skiing very much, but nowadays it's a bit of a constant during the winter months.
I've traveled through many countries and am drawn as much to culture, food, and history as I am to wild landscapes. Some trips are about big terrain, others about wandering unfamiliar places, but all of them are about learning and exploration.
This site is my alternative to social media: a personal space to document trips, share stories, and keep a record for myself, family, and friends. No grand objectives—just a desire to keep skiing, keep traveling, return to sailing after a long break, and stay curious wherever the road, trail, or skin track leads.
