I was introduced to the outdoors, mountaineering and traveling at a young age. Hiking, camping, mountain biking, and zip lining were regular activities while growing up in rural Tennessee. I then became interested in mountaineering, and summitted Rainier and Denali while in college. I've since spent multiple weeks ice climbing in Colorado and Canada, and more recently I've been focused on trying to figure out this whole backcountry skiing thing.
